1951
In 1951, in the vibrant city of Jalandhar, Punjab, Puri Brothers was founded as a small, family-owned business. The vision was simple - to bring the finest natural products to our community.
1964-70
Through partnerships in medicinal sectors, our portfolio grew to 27 Himalayan herbs. Saffron supply expanded to caterers and temples. We launched Ganapathy brand for smaller saffron SKUs.
1982
Raw Asphaltum (Shilajit) was added to our expanding portfolio, which now includes 122 regularly supplied items. This addition strengthened our commitment to providing high-quality natural products for health and wellness.
1997
Puri Brothers was one of the pioneers in supplying high-quality Iranian saffron to meet the rising demand. Additionally, we began exporting saffron from India, enhancing our commitment to quality and expanding our global reach.
2017-19
Mr. Madhav Puri, founder of SACRED, entered the business taking over legacy in 4th generation. Oriental Spices, a sister concern, is formed to cater to specific customer needs. SACRED as a brand was conceptualized by him in 2019.
2023-24
SACRED promotes a health-conscious lifestyle with delicious, caffeine-free alternatives in the Indian Hot Beverages market. Launched in August 2024, it all-natural, preservative-free ingredients for overall well-being and energy sustainment.
